N.R. Narayana Murthy deliver speech on entrepreneurship at IBPC
The founder and Chairman Emeritus of Infosys Technologies Ltd, N R Narayana Murthy delivered a key note speech on entrepreneurship at an exclusive function organised by Indian Business and Professional Council at Crowne Plaza hotel in Kuwait. Creation of job is possible only through entrepreneurship and industrialisation, Mr Murthy said in his speech which was attended by large number of IBPC members and invitees.
The new government at the centre is very hardworking. The prime minister Narendra Modi is the finest orator in the. The Good thing about his 'make in India' program is that it will help people to move from Agriculture to Manufacturing, Mr Murthy said. This government’s 'Start Up India' initiative is the finest example of encouraging entrepreneurship among the young generation to create the jobs for other. The 'Digital India' initiative helps to make the life of common man better and is one of the most ambitious program that any country has taken, Narayana Murthy said. There is lot of enthusiasm in the country now. This government is very serious, it has put in a lot of effort and is very enthusiastic; the bureaucrats chosen are all very good as well. Today we have excellent secretaries in almost all departments, he said.
Earlier IBPC Secretary Mr Anant Kapadiya welcomed the audience and introduced Mr Narayana Murthy. IBPC Chairman Mr Tony Jashamnal and Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain also spoke on the occasion. The event also features an interactive session where the audience’s question on various aspects of entrepreneurship was answered by Mr Murthy. Choji Lamba proposed vote of thanks.
